November Product Updates
Longer tests, a instant test validation, an AI Assistant, a Chromium-based Wizard, real-time test graphs, grouped test history, AI-driven analysis, and per-URL insights.
At LoadForge, we’re constantly enhancing our platform to deliver the most powerful, reliable, and user-friendly load testing experience possible. We’re excited to introduce several key upgrades and new features designed to simplify your testing workflows, improve test accuracy, and provide richer insights into your results. Here’s what’s new:
1. Extended Test Durations on Our Cloud
Until now, running load tests longer than an hour was only available on personal clouds. Now, all users can run tests over an hour directly from our Cloud, enabling more flexibility in simulating real-world conditions and extended traffic loads. This feature opens up new possibilities for testing high-traffic scenarios and observing system endurance.
2. Quick Check for Instant Test Validation
Launching a test has never been easier. With our new Test Quick Check feature, you can simulate a five-second trial run of your test before diving into a full execution. This quick validation ensures your script is configured correctly, so you can confidently run tests without worrying about misconfigurations.
3. AI-Powered Locustfile Assistant
Creating test scripts is now more intuitive than ever. We’re proud to launch our AI Assistant for writing Locustfiles, allowing you to chat with the assistant to generate test scripts suited to your exact needs. This feature is designed to save time, boost efficiency, and make script creation accessible, even for those newer to load testing.
4. Chromium-Powered Wizard for Enhanced Crawler Capabilities
Our Wizard has had an upgrade, switching from a pure HTTP crawler to a Chromium-based browser. This update allows the Wizard to render JavaScript and fully mimic the behavior of a real browser, giving you more accurate and reliable results when testing websites with dynamic content.
5. Real-Time Graphs on Test Run Live Monitor
We’ve added live graphs to the Test Run Live Monitor so you can track performance metrics in real-time as your test progresses. Visualizing key data live enables immediate insights and swift action to address any issues that arise during testing.
6. "Runs by Test" for Organized Results and Time-Based Graphing
Our Runs By Test section in the side menu now groups all your test runs by test name, making it easier to organize and analyze your testing history. You can also graph performance changes over time, helping you track system improvements or issues across multiple test runs.
7. AI Test Analysis for Simplified Results Interpretation
Navigating complex test results can be overwhelming, so we’ve introduced AI Test Analysis to every run. This feature provides a human-readable explanation of your load test results and actionable suggestions for improvement. Now, you can quickly understand the meaning behind the metrics without the need to interpret raw data.
8. Per-URL Analysis for Detailed Performance Insights
In our per-URL results within each run, we’ve added URL Analysis that allows you to dive into specific pages and their performance. This new layer of detail helps you identify exactly where issues may arise and better understand page-level performance.
These new updates and features are designed to make your testing more efficient, intuitive, and insightful, whether you're running short checks or extended tests. We hope you enjoy these enhancements and look forward to seeing how they elevate your testing process. As always, your feedback helps shape LoadForge’s future—let us know how these features are working for you!
